CCTCC MacLean Holiday - 6-12 April 2025 Hi All Our away trip up to Maclean is next week, I'm hoping that the weather will be kind to us and I may have to change the rides around a bit if it's raining. I've been told that there are a few standard cabins left at the riverside Caravan Park if anyone's interested. Some of the roads have been changed around a bit from the last time we were there due to the new freeway and a section of the road to Brooms head road is a bit rough in some places and no shoulder and is a bit busier then the last time we did that ride. So if it's raining I would prefer not to ride it due to safety concerns. There is also a lot of road works going in and out of Yamba. Maybe they have finished but if not then it will be in our favor due to its 60k speed limit through the road works. There have been some new cycleways added around the place but as usual they end up on a road. We will have a happy hour and briefing at the BBQ & Toilet stop just north of the S bent in Maclean (see attached map) on Sunday at 5pm. There is a Spa close by if you wish to buy food.
